I'll be in STL for Christmas so I'm going to have to visit the wine and cheese shop for sure.

Was able to get a 2011 Weller, 2011 Handy, 2011 Stag, 2x WT Rare Breed, Pappy 15, and a surprise Van Winkle Rye. Super stoked about that Rye. I have been nursing my open bottle for over a year.

Seems like a lot more VW Ryes are popping up then expected....

I think I am good for rest of 2011.

Over the weekend found a PHC Wheater for $80. Didn't care about price, just wanted to get my hands on a bottle before it's all gone.

$80 is the going rate here, is it not? I found some at that price and it seems like I should pick one up.

The lady finished my 4R Yellow making bourbon pumpkin cheesecake, so my order for 4R OESO TPS and 2x Weller 12 went in. Cant wait to compare the Weller to some LotB at work.

Kudos, CohibaJoe! Welcome to the forums.

I scored some Four Roses Small Batch for a price lower than I've ever seen. Each bottle was $19.99, so I picked up six.

After reading all the comments re Four Roses, picked up a bottle of Single Barrel this weekend. Very smooth with a slightly different, but very nice taste. This has been the first bourbon that I got butterscotch from - as well as maybe a little mint in the long finish.

That or I've been reading too many tasting notes on here...

I got confirmation on my 2nd bottle of PVW20. Trying like heck to find a ORVW10/107 or ORVW 15/107 and a 13YR Rye if anyone has some tips.

John J. Bowman Single Barrel

I'm actually still shocked that I found it here in Kentucky. Just happened to walk into a store and see it sitting in their case.

Yesterday I got a FR1B gift set with two glasses.

I also picked up some EW Eggnog and Pennsylvania Dutch Eggnog to compare them.

Was able to pick up 2 more Van Winkle Ryes... and @ $29.99 a bottle, I am still grinning from ear to ear!

When I heard the total I asked the clerk twice if she was ringing up both bottles... "yup 29.99 each"

I probably went a bit overboard since I'm still figuring out what I like, but I picked up:

ORVW 10/90

ORVW 10/107

Van Winkle Lot B

Thomas Handy Rye

Old Weller 107

...and WT101 gift pack since I needed a new flask...

Hopefully this was all money well spent. It will certainly last me a long time.
