What Bourbon did you purchase today? - Fall 2011

Bought a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch. I don't think I've ever had it. The Single Barrel is ok, in my opinion. But I saw here on SB that the Small Batch is a different recipe than the one used for the Single Barrel.

Bought some PHC 2010 yesterday. I've not been buying this because I don't like spending that much on a bottle, but decided to go ahead and get some since I missed out on the WLW this year. Also picked up a couple more bottles of EW eggnog.

Picked up a PVW 20, but wasn't able to get a new PVW 15 due to my source's allocation being cut in half.

Well I actually had my choice....decided to stay with known SW stuff rather than getting the BT PVW.

Picked up 6x Mcscrooges EC 18yo and 2x each of the BTEC rice and oats. From what I've read, I'm not in a hurry to crack into those little 350 ml bottles. tim

My order of Eagle Rare 17 and Thomas H. Handy came tonight. The UPS man dropped the box on the porch. I was lucky that it was packed well as there was no damage.

I told the delivery man he almost bought two bottles of expensive bourbon.

Broke down and bought myself a bottle of Blanton's. I just love the bottle and the packaging. I don't think there is a more beautiful bottle. Good thing what's inside is usually pretty good, too.
