I like hot foods, used to be an alcoholic(well, technically once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic) and I still see no reason to try this. I like hot things in my food, not in my drink! If I wanted the warming sensation in a drink, I'll just reach for a bottle of any whiskey I have on hand and it warms me up like a nice fireplace that I am sitting in front of on a comfy couch.

I grow ghost peppers, trinidad scorpion peppers for fun (1 mill scolvilles) and I would never add it to alcohol. Why would you want more burn in your drink? Always learned that it was a bad thing in wine so I prefer drinks that dont show the heat.
