Steve99
Just opened a new Knob Creek Single Barrel -- this is my third bottle and by far this is the best. Seems to be more variance in this than I would have expected. This one just does not stop, the nose, taste and finish just keep going and going. I've given up on regular Knob Creek as too woody for me -- KC used to be my favorite, but the single barrel has always been enjoyable. This bottle though seems especially good - wish they identified the barrels in some way so I could get another one of these!

fishnbowljoe
I had an open spot on my "open" shelf, so I opened an older 375 of J W Dant BIB.

Tucker
Opened a bottle of Blanton's I've had sitting around for about a year (dumped 8-15-11). Vanilla, toasted oak and spices on the nose, a little lighter on the palate with some caramel notes and more creamy vanilla. Lighter than I remember, but a slight enough burn to remind you it's not an 80 proofer. The family resemblance to the AAA 10 yr is there (I just finished a bottle), but with a good bit more heft and flavor. I should drink this more often. Tucker
Baker's B-85-001. Cork disintegrated upon opening. Not much on the nose, a little funky. Some caramel sweetness, otherwise fairly indistinct on the palate. A disappointing pour; I had some hope for this one.

Kalessin
Four Roses SmBLE 2012 and 1BLE 2012. I tasted them both, and while they're excellent and complicated, it's going to take some days of tasting before I feel I can really comment on them in any review-like fashion.
