Steve99
2012 ULTIMATE SPIRITS CHALLENGE. Blanton's was also awarded the Chairman's Trophy which represents "The Best of the Best"Click the link for full results. http://www.ultimate-beverage.com/the-results/2012-spirits-results/Some interesting results -- and lots of bourbons scored. Pappy 23 is pretty far down the list given the price. On the other hand Evan Williams 1783 did very well for its price. I'm especially surprised Stagg is so low, but the scores are all pretty tight as well.
StraightNoChaser
Just want to point out that Texas' very own Balcones in Waco took the Chairman's Trophy for American Whisky with their Single Malt

Bourbon Boiler
I love Bulleit, but when I saw it tied Pappy 23 I quit reading.
Shuboy
I'm a bit confused at Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy winning Best Blended Irish Whiskey. Isn't that a Single Pot Still Whiskey like Redbreast?
JayMonster
I find things like this useless because the criteria is far too convoluted and inconsistent. I don't mind individual rankings... But even then I prefer to taste it for myself first and then compare to the score to find somebody that ranks similar... Only then can I place any credence in somebody else's ranking.
