I have a bottle you might like.", and then he brings out a bottle of Pappy 15 that has been hiding in his desk since October.This is why I like this store, and love the people there. All too often we hear stories of price-gouging owners and other BS, especially when it comes to the Van Winkle line. That owner probably passed up some short-term profit knowing it would pay dividends in the future - and he was probably right.
