Wolf
Yesterday my work took me a few hours from home to a lab in OKC I haven't used before. About a block away I noticed a decent sized, but sorta run-down looking, liquor store. Of course I had to investigate to see what I could find. I finally, after looking for months in countless stores, found some Weller 12. They had 5 bottles, I snagged them all. They also had 1 bottle of Wild Turkey Rye 101 ($17!!) that I promptly grabbed as well to add to the others I have bunkered. I also grabbed a 1.75L OWA that was very dusty & had the age statement on the label, "Seven Summers Old" and all that. I walked out of there with my finds, giggling like a little girl! :yum:

ThirstyinOhio
Picked up a bottle of Woodford (Kentucy Derby bottle), WT Rye 101, Balcone's Brimstone, and since I enjoy an occasional Irish whiskey, a bottle of Jameson's Black Barrel.
atfree
I love the DSP-KY-16 Old Fitz BIB, but realize the chances of keeping a steady stock of that are not good. Therefore, I bought my first Old Fitz BIB DSP-KY-1 today. These seem to be disappearing from the shelves around here and not being replenished. savagehenry
Your assumption was incorrect, but thanks. Now that I know what it means I say that is a lame thing to call it. I'm hereby referring to it has Supreme Bodacious.
JB64
I picked up a bottle of 1792 Ridgemont Reserve and a 50 of Bulleit. Never tried either and these are my first bottles from the respective distilleries. As far as I know 1792 is the only Barton product sold in my area. I had a pour of the 1792 this evening and found it to be enjoyable. Had a sweet vanilla/burnt sugar nose and a taste of leather and oak. A decent 8 year old but not sure about the $30 cost. I wish I had a bottle of Beam Black on hand for comparison, if I recall correctly Beam had a similar taste and was $10 less.
