The wife and I spent the weekend in KY and brought back a few goodies:

J.W. Dant BIB - pre-fire HH, purchased for curiosity's sake (and it was cheap)

AAA 10yr TPS

FRSB TPS - OESK, 9yr, barrel strength

Virginia Gentleman - this looks to be an older bottle due to the lack of a gov't warning

3 x OWA 7yr 1.75L - thanks to a generous SB'er for pointing me in their direction!

The VG is very tasty for an 80-proof whiskey. I've enjoyed it much more than expected!

Also picked up a VOB BIB and AAA 10yr for a friend in CA. He and a friend drained the last bottle of VOB I gave him in an evening, so I think he liked it.

I thought I had purchased a bottle of EH Taylor Barrel Proof and a bottle of EH Taylor Sour Mash from Binny's, instead the Sour Mash was just the Single Barrel. Their description, "Colonel E H Taylor Single Barrel Old Fashioned Sour Mash Whiskey", fooled me. So if anyone is interested in trading a Single Barrel for a Sour Mash, please let me know!![h=3][/h]

I fell for that. I sent the Single Barrel back as it wasn't what I ordered and I already had a bottle. They told me they would change the website but apparently they haven't.

Picked up a few mid-shelfers last night including OGD114, FRsB and EC12. Then I headed over to the Irish section and a bottle of Redbreast Cask Strength jumped in my cart. Funny how that shit happens sometimes!:grin:
