Nice haul. Do you mind sharing where this foreign whiskey hunting is taking place?

Parker's Heritage Wheated. I have been eying this bottle for a while. I'm pretty sure I won't see another and I'll enjoy my open one more knowing that I'll be able to try it again sometime.

Found this gift pack on a back shelf. Just found a 2000 about a week ago. If anyone needs a EWSB '99 for a collection, there was another one of these packs hidden in the back, PM me.

Found this little gift pack today. Found an EWSB 2000 last week, so I've got a little collection going, but it won't last since I intend on drinking all of the "invaluable" contents. If anyone needs a '99 EWSB for a collection, PM me, I think I saw another gift pack hidden behind some other stuff.

Last night I was in a local bar with a great selection of Bourbon. I asked about the Parker's 27 I saw and was told the price of $9, served in a tumbler. Giddy-up; What a very nice pour this was. I'm pretty sure they are not making much off a $9 price- it may have been mis-entered in the system, it's hard to say. I may end up trying that one again soon. Wow, what a finish- I can almost still taste it....

While traveling the last few days I picked up a couple of recent B&B Packages private barrel selections of OWA and BT. They always do a nice job on their picks, particularly with BT products, so I'm looking forward to popping them. Also, picked up the new CEHT Rye. I have to run first, but I will be opening that one soon after.

That's gotta be a mistake. I've only seen that in one bar, and it was around $50/glass. Nice score by you.

Yes, probably an error.

The one time before I tried it at the same place it was closer to $20. They have most of the bottle left. I'm pretty sure I'll be back for more of that one  Too bad the food there isn't worthwhile.

The Weller 12 yr old finally arrived, so I picked up 3 750s to add to my stash. It is in short supply in central Ky and was allocated to individual stores by the distributor.

I purchased my first Weller 12 Year at Chuck's in Bowling Green, KY back in April. I purchased some other bourbons and the clerk recommended that I try the Weller 12. She told me they had just got 10 cases when they were usually just allocated one or two. It was so good I called my brother to pick up a case for me. That was one of the best decisions I have made in a while.

What were you thinking, Joe? You should have cracked it and posted notes from your phone while in the checkout line! This is the release I am most curious about; it will either be really good or really overpriced. Please post in the rye forum when you finally taste it.

Elijah Craig 18 yr (apparently it's from 2008 as it was barreled in 1990.)

Old Grand Dad 114...just because...

Nice call DPP. To this day, Weller 12 is the only bourbon I ever bought a case of. Actually, multiple cases. Good stuff. Enjoy. Cheers! Joe

Hope you like that OWA Joe, I helped picked that barrel out last spring. Yes, Thomas runs a great shop and he is always buying barrels.

Currently at Narita Airport (Tokyo) on my way back from a Southeast Asian honeymoon and I couldn't pass on WT 8 yr and 12 yr.

I ordered a bottle of HW Campfire online a couple days ago because none of my local stores seemed to be getting any. Lo and behold, I found a bottle for $44.99 at one of my favorite stores while wine shopping. Going on faith, but I'm 95% sure I'm going to love it once I crack it open.
