I just finished my last pour of this. I'm definitely going to get another bottle if there is any left on the shelf. It's a damn good bourbon for the price, IMO.

But really, I loved all the tasting notes. I have had '08 and '11 versions, and this one is very good.

After unsuccessful attempts at locating it at my usual places, my brother found one for me. Then I randomly stopped at an unfamiliar place and they had 4 on the shelf, so I picked one up. I am checking the budget to see if I can squeeze one more in February. :grin:

I get the cherry, and the oak is certainly there but obviously not to the extent of 2011.

I have every year since 2003 but didn't get this one. For some reason it is much more expensive this year. The last few years I have spent less than $30/bottle. It is around $40 this year. The last couple of years have not knocked me down and for $40 there are other things I would rather try. I don't know if this was always the list price and most discounted it and not doing so this year or if it just went up. Also not nearly as many stores are carrying it this year.
