As the temperature dropped over the weekend I had a glass of Eagle Rare 10 yr & some Weller Antique 107* with the age statement. (Weller is the poor man's Van Winkle!)

Dipped into the Vintage 17, and still have the same thoughts as when I first cracked it; spectacular nose with a decent palate (but not one I'd pick up again unless discounted).

My Thanksgiving 2012 George T Stagg, oh BT you have forsaken me.

Please make up for it at Christmas with the WLarueW.

Just poured a bit of PVW 20, opened it on thanksgiving and it really didn't tickle my fancy and now on take 2 I feel the same way....I guess I just saved myself a bunch of money in that I won't want to buy it in the future

Maker's Mark. Like most brands, I find every bottle a little different: this one has a good rich-yet-flowing taste, good whiskey by any definition.

Having a solid pour from a freshly opened bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel OESF, aged 9 years 9 months. Damn fine bourbon!

I'm wondering when Los Angeles is going to get 2012 BTAC while drinking my last pour, oils, char & all, of a 2011 WLW.

I went down to the bunker and came back up with an Old Rip Van Winkle 10/107 bottled Autumn 2011.

Bettter than what I expected but my exprctations have been very low the last few years.

I like this Rip, it warms the bones, ...OK?
