c2walker
It could be that you just have an Iron Palate! See you in a couple weeks buddy!Moved onto some FR 17yr GS barrel #18 after that and IMO it's a better bourbon. It had more texture and complexity and less heat...IIRC this was a lower proof barrel though...somewhere in the 106 range. Chris can you confirm seeing as you gave me the sample? Barrel 18 is 101 proof and change. I like both the '12 LE SmB and the series of 16/17 year old gift shop barrels, but I completely agree with your assessment. Brisko
I'm fighting a head cold, so it's been OGD 114 for me for the last few days. Best cough medicine money can buy-- and it opens up my sinuses better than any OTC decongestant. Doesn't hurt that it tastes great, too.

MyOldKyDram
No theme, rhyme or reason, but over the course of this turkey day had some Larceny, Redbreast CS, Four Roses 17 yo, and 2012 GTS, along with a few different wet-hopped beers. And of course too much food. Hope that everyone had a good day!

tanstaafl2
All the discussion of AE cask strength got me to bring out the regular old unleaded AE this evening for another taste. Not available in my state as far as I know but got a bottle as a gift from a friend who travels down from Cincinnati on a regular basis and drinking a gift bottle is just that much nicer!
