Yes it is, next time I go to Chicago I am going to try to stay there, they have a great brunch and a wonderful bar.

Best regards, Tony

Thanksgiving was great. For once, the men outnumbered the women, and after dinner we killed a V17 together and tucked into a PHC 2012. Some Caol Ila to close out the night.

Larceny over crushed ice while out in the backyard catching the last rays of brilliant sunshine on this cool day. I am amidst of a pretty thorough run-through of my open bottles, and I can't think of another bourbon that I have been enjoying more this Thanksgiving Holiday. It is an immensely enjoyable whiskey. HH no longer has to take a back seat on the wheater bus. This is as good as any out there.

A head to head of the 2012 4RSmB and 4RSB and would have to say the 4RSmB came out ahead. Just wish Michigan could have done the same.

Best regards, Tony

Had some Wild Turkey Tradition followed by Rare Breed for Thanksgiving. 2 of my favorites. I plan on having a sip of my American Spirit this weekend as well...

Sipping on some George T Stagg at the moment. Will likely go the other way and follow that up with a glass of Evan Williams BIB.

Heaven Hill 6 year white label. Easily the best $10.00 bourbon I've ever had.

Agreed. It's almost criminal that we get such a great whiskey for ten bucks.

Wife wasn't feeling well and went to bed early. Toddler is sleeping. Started with Old Potrero StraightRye Whiskey and moved onto ORVW10. Not sure where this is leading me.

Had a couple nice pours of FC last night while flipping back and forth between two games: One pour to celebrate the USC win over Clemson; one pour to celebrate the loss of that other USC to ND.

Small pours of PHC 10 and PVW 15

A nice morning.

Will

As always Will, your selections are above reproach. I will probably have a few spots open on my shelf very soon. I may just have to follow your lead. I'm usually a little hesitant when it comes time for me to open a bottle or two. Not this time. The PHC 10 and Pappy 15 duo is a can't miss. Cheers! Joe

Enjoying my 36th birthday. It's been an odd week - my '73 F250 died on MON, my Pioneer Plasma died on THU, my laptop died today, and the Chargers game is blacked out.

Started with a pour of Old Pogue at a bar. First time trying it, not bad.

Now returning to an old friend, EC12

Next I may reward myself by opening my PVW 20 & 23 that I bought in April.

Putting the cap on a great Thanksgiving Holiday with a pour of SB.Com's/KBS Private Barrel selection of Pappy 23. :yum:
