Bourbon pecan pie for TG

gathered up the ingredients. used Paula Deen's recipe from the www. calls for 2 Tblsp bourbon, so I upped it to 3 and used 110 proof 4R

eggs and sugar, too. just mix everything together, pour into crust and bake

you can really taste the bourbon in this one.

That pecan pie looks great. How did the bourbon work with the other flavors? I made a maple bourbon syrup to use on my yams for Thanksgiving this year that turned out pretty good.

This is one of my favorite deserts. I got introduced to a similar recipe with a tailgate buddy at Purdue games a few years ago. About 1.5 to 2x the reccomended bourbon dosage works for me. I like to go with a proof near 80*.
