Long, long, looong-arse day. Settling in with a GBS Elijah Craig 15. "Light", would not be a word to describe my day, nor this whiskey.

Enjoying the peace and quiet with the wife after puttign the kids down. I'm having '12 WLW and the wife is having a Bourbon Margarita (Frozen Whiskey Sour?) made with Weller 107.

I hope your night is going more smoothly than your day, sir.

I'm having some more SB Blend while watching Sunset Blvd on blu-ray. Never seen this classic before, can't wait to see if it lives up to the hype!

Yes sir, it did. The wonders of good Bourbon! :D

Tonight, it's an old 2002 Old Forester Birthday Bourbon in the glass. This series has had so many great releases. They really do will with it.

Having my 1st taste ever of Pappy 20 y/o. Woooow!! What a bourbon.

I know some of the "old timers" here are probably going to cringe when they see it, but I would like to hear your thoughts on it and the WLW in your avatar.

Followed a bottle of Tritono 2004 Malbec with a generous pour of GTS2012 to start the new bond movie. Ending the evening with a EWSB1999 pour. Pretty good Valentines day, didn't even have to go to hallmark.

A day late in reporting a glass of Jim Beam white - only bourbon at the restaraunt in Rome, NY.

This afternoon at the Albany airport, I found a bottle of Woodford Reserve in a restaraunt/bar with about 6 ounces left in it. I am pleased to report the bottle is now empty.

That's, how it is done, boys.

I've had this bottle of Pappy for about four years, so it should be from Stitzel Weller, (I think so). It's the smoothest pour I've had. Like your favorite dessert. It's the best all around bourbon I've ever had. (Ive been drinking bourbon for about 13 years). As for me, I'm a high proof guy, I love barrel proof. With that said I've had WLW every year for the past 5 years and for me I would take WLW over Pappy 20 y/o.

Your right I might get blasted for saying that but that's the way it is for me. It's like Old Grand-Dad, I love the 114 proof I'm not a fan of the regular. All that said the bottom line is the Pappy 20 y/o is one of the finest bourbons I've had.

Good to hear. :toast:

Last night -- the wife poured me some of the Bulleit she gifted for Valentine's, surprised me with a massage (she's a physical therapist/massage therapist).... I'll skip the next part :70358-devil:.... and then some ORVW 107 while watching House of Cards to close out the night.

Ordered a pour of William Larue Weller at 11:56 AM local time. Lunch is on the company and I'm done until Tuesday. Pretty sure I'm winning right now. Knock on wood.
