smokinjoe
Settling in to an evening of relaxation on the front patio after a rugged week at the plastic factory. Blooming gardenia and potted basil doing their best to sweeten the air, Braves on the radio, Maker’s 46 over a cube in the glass, and a Montecristo Epic PS robusto ready to be fired up. I earned every bit of this… Edited May 31, 2024 by smokinjoe

Skinsfan1311
Punch is my "go-to" smoke. I pretty much like them all. They're packed with flavor, constructed nicely and reasonably priced.
smokinjoe
After unpacking from our beach trip, I figured I’d light one up Red Auerbach style to celebrate a nice 5 days away, and also celebrate getting home in on piece from the drive. Truly, half the drivers on the road have no idea WTF they’re doing. They drive like it’s Mario Cart, and feel there are no lethal consequences to their fumbfuckery. Just, restart the game! . Or, they’re completely asleep at the wheel with no sense of any awareness. Ricky Patel LB1 and a generous pour of 1792 BIB, to take the edge off.
smokinjoe
It’s been alternating bouts of rain, than hot Sun all day. Latest was a good thunderstorm that roared through, but now finished. The air is thick. Perfect time for a Flor de las Antillas robusto on the front patio, as it brightens up a bit. But, hearing thunder rumbling out yonder.

They're a tad overpriced, but I'll buy 'em when they go on sale, which is several times a year, on most cigar sites....
Skinsfan1311
Graycliff...and I don't know which one. The 60 ring gauge is a little more than I care for, but It's pretty good for sitting on the back porch with a book.

I was all about the bigger ring gauges years ago but now I really don't enjoy smoking anything larger than 52.

FacePlant
Oct of 2013 Davidoff released The Year of the Horse for the upcoming Jan 2014. After nearly 11 years in the humi the cello wrapper was stained a dark amber and begging to be smoked. Pretty hefty flavor and strength for the brand.

I have purchased a few boxes of the Davidoff limited editions over the past couple years and am hoping to keep at least a few of the sticks for a decade or so. Davidoffs are known to age well. Did you enjoy the flavor of this one?
smokinjoe
Late afternoon Padron out front while listening to Braves on the radio.
