Renegator
Same thing happened to me. I saw the re-drop of Batch 3 but never saw any Batch 4. Just wondered if anyone else ever saw Batch 4 but it doesn't seem like it. Thanks for the responses, guys.
Senor Harvey
Anyone know when this is going to hit California? It already has hit in the Bay Area. I know of three stores that received and sold their allotment.
PaulO
I was offered a bottle for $70 yesterday on the North side. The funny thing was the prices on everything else seemed normal. Closer to where I live, ECBP goes for low $40s (when they have it).
flahute
It's hit Washington State again, priced at $49.99 - a five dollar increase. I saw that was in stock online so I don't know what batch this is.

EagleRiver
I would love to hear some Examples of where you anyone saw this for sale in Illinois, I was very specifically told by a Heaven Hill employee that it was on premise only in the state of Illinois so I would never be sold any, yet I keep seeing more and more examples of it being sold at liquor stores across the state. Of course I should have known I was in for a big lie when the first thing the guy says to me was "You might not like my answers, but I will at least be honest with you." Only a bad liar leads with a line like that, lol.

I called a store the other day asking for it and they said the didn't expect it back until toward the end of the year. Must have been lying to me about it. cloudatlas
ER, Not aware of it being in Illinois, at least yet. PaulO is from Greenwood, Indiana. Don't know why next poster then asked about Chicago.Sorry for the confusion I injected here. I know that a lot of Northwest Indiana residents come to Illinois to buy liquor, and when I saw "North Side" (in caps), I thought it might be referring to the North Side of Chicago, home to the Chicago Cubs and dozens of first-rate liquor stores (that sometimes still like to gouge consumers).I looked at a map just now and saw that Greenwood is an Indianapolis suburb (not NWI). So, again, sorry for the confusion.

So they were 100% in IL.

tigerlam92
Just picked up my shares of ECBP 134.8 on hold for me and open one right away. Consistent with the others and very good. Dark(er) caramel color, nice nose, very nice flavor/taste and very chewy. First taste only but appear slightly more wood (bitter) than the other? But as I finished typing, at the end it was balance as like the other version. I was too impatient and started drinking before my ice barely melted. Hahaha. Going for a second big pour. IIRC, the taste has an additional layer maybe slightly more complex. Splitting hair again. Yummy
PaulO
Yeah guys, to me North side means North of downtown Indianapolis. Anyway, tomorrow the hunt for reasonably priced ECBP begins again.

mbroo5880i
I picked up a few of a prior batch (#2). One off the shelf and the other not. My guess is that in most places it never makes it to the shelf.

tigerlam92
Be nice to hear some more notes on the 5th and what others think of it. Perhaps something is happening to my taste (been reducing my consumption on and off), but this one doesn't give me the wow I always get from previous release; although it is still good. From memory, it's a lot less caramel and mild sweet roundness to it than the others. I guess I can open an older bottle and compare SBS.

Very thick, chewy texture, and tons of molasses in the nose and on the palate. There's definitely some wood in there, but I haven't found it to be as woody as others. The dominant note I get is molasses.
