MyOldKyDram
You found the barrel proof too sweet? And you found it for under $30? Sorry and well done, respectively.

savagehenry
4RSB experiment - poured OBSV into the glass, then OESK into the glass for a mini vat. Very tasty.
tigerlam92
I got the ECBP here for 29.99 and I don't really think it was worth it.Different strokes I guess. I think it is too sweet......That's a really great price. I have not read anyone getting it that low. I just bought four at 41.99 blindly based on what I read and loving it. I do like the sweeter side of bourbon and this is wowing me. It's going to be a stable for me. CheersHugh
Alden
Weller 12 on the rocks before dinner, and after, a little sampling of OGD114, 4R SmB, Balvenie, and finally Dickel rye, just enough to cover the bottom of a glass each, in quick succession. (Note to self: Never slip in a scotch while doing a bourbon run.)

savagehenry
Now a mini vat of OBSK & OESV.Did I just coin the term mini vat? What is considered a vatting? Does it have to be half a bottle of this and half a bottle of that, or can it be half a pour of this and half a pour of that?

GaryT
I got the ECBP here for 29.99 and I don't really think it was worth it.Different strokes I guess. I think it is too sweet......Wow - I thought $39.99 was a bargain, but granted - I like bourbon that's big on sweet. I've heard tales of single malt scotch going for way cheap in Oklahoma - is it just whiskey or liquor in general? We're heading out to OK this summer to visit some family, and may have to bring extra luggage

Parkersback
Had a mix of WLW 2011 and Weller 12, about 50/50. Found it a touch hot and maybe a touch woody, so I added a splash of some late-model SW Old Fitz BIB. I guess it was a Fishbowl mingling, and not bad at that.
