Elijah Craig 18 followed by Buffalo Trace. Yes, I had them in the wrong order.

Some ORVW 10/107, trying to take the edge off while listening to news from my hometown, Boston.

Meant to say "last night". This morning, took a page from Squire's book and poured some Bulleit in my coffee.

Just had some 4Roses Yellow Label on ice.

For an 80 proof bourbon, this is really good!

CEHT Barrel Proof. Apparently I've been spoiled by EC12BP, because this (for a very similar proof) comes off as hot and less than impressive (especially for the price). Or - it's just not hitting right on a Tuesday evening; always a possibility.

Starting out the night with what is left from a sample of Frankfort Weller Centennial that I brought with for Wainwright and I to taste last night...next up will be the remaining of the Louisville Weller Centennial! :)

Since the wife was away I decided to try some bourbon at lunch.

Started off with a healthy pour of Fighting Cock. You know, I was surprised at how smooth it was by the third pour!

Eased off with a bit of 4RSmB. Not sure what I will have tonite!

Sipping all day while doing some slide preparation. ER 10 year, bookers, a bulliet rye old fashioned with a few buddies, and just poured the last one out of a bottle of Henry Mckenna BiB.

Last night we did William larue Weller, Pappy 15 and Vintage 17 after dinner. The mouth feel and overall yummyness was won out by the vintage 17.

Last dram of Johnny Drum PS (although technically using the last couple ounces for more bourbon maple syrup!)

Last night we went to our church Community Group and the host gave me a sample of Makers Mark Mint Julep. Tonight I started with EC 18, then moved on to Jefferson Reserve while switching between the Thunder game and Severe weather coverage

OGD 86, then 4R1B, and now some Noah's Mill, all neat, and each one a 14 proof jump. I haven't got anything that's 128 pf.

Small pours of Angels Envy, FRSB, and Noah's Mill, with the AE and NM being newly opened.

Angels Envy is interesting--can't say it will be a staple, but it's good. And my wife liked it when she took a sip, which I think was the wine influence.

FRSB is always so darn good, and just the best bargain at $30 by me. I really liked the Noah's Mill. A little sweet, a little spicy, and some heat from the proof but still very drinkable neat. Good stuff.
