A glassful of Eagle Rare on the rocks before dinner. Hadn't had this in awhile, I know it gets some mixed reviews here on SB but I will keep it in the lineup for now.

Last night, tried a 2:1 blend of KCSB and FC, seeing as I wasn't blown away by either. I really liked this, the FC seemed to bring out the KC's sweetness and added an extra bit of rye spice... paired well with Game of Thrones.

Mixed or not, my review is that it is a pretty good drink.

I think I read that it tastes like BT that has been aged longer. More intensity, and more wood.

I just a finished a generous pour of '12 Birthday Bourbon that I nursed along for over an hour. Very Nice! I wonder if anybody still has this on a shelf? I'd grab another bottle, if one's around. I know, shoulda' done so a long while ago. If anybody knows where I can get one around Downriver, Detroit please say where; Thanx!

Opened up the JPS21 batch 2 and comparing it to the JPS18 batch 14. Sorry, my taste buds and nose isn't performing today, blaming on the pollen or something. I try to wait it out to see as well. But drank it neat then with a very small spoon of water. They are actually pretty similar to me today which should be odd. I will try this again.
