Enjoyed some VOB BIB and SB blend last night, catching up on Game of Thrones and watching the Knicks beat the Celtics. Two terrific values without compromising quality in the bourbon world.

Had a great time hanging out with other SBers at Delilahs last night for the HW tasting. In addition to the HW line-up, I had EB 12, ECBP, ETL 90th BDay, PHC Golden, and some Ten High Ten thanks to Brett.

Elijah Craig 12yo Barrel Proof cut with spring water.

At 134.2 proof I took one ounce of the EC and a half ounce of water to cut it to 107.75 proof.

I like it better at barrel proof, it's seems like it got hotter and got a red hots candy thing going on.

Started off with KC. And for me that was a mistake. I don't really like KC. Now having Wllers Special Reserve. Much better :-)

Well I started with some malt and quickly moved on to some OESQ that is finger-lickin good, then WTRRSmB1B that is just suffering and I've got some EW1B '03 lined up to fade out the evening on. I'm still waiting for the WTRR to come around, but so far it ain't happening. It's young, it's charred, it's manic put down with heavy sedatives. And not in a good way.

Unfortunately I couldn't agree more and I had such high hopes,letdown of the year for me.:frown:

Some Bulleit that I sweetened up a bit by pouring my half-empty handle into a near-empty bottle of SB Blend.... while watching License to Kill.

Watching the NFL draft and having some Old Forester 100 proof that came out of my deceased father in-laws stash. Still has the old tax stamp on it.
