Clavius
Just poured the last of an old 750ml bottle of ORVW 10/90 that I used to do the SB Blend, 50/50. So tonight I have killed what little was left of a bottle of ECBP, the last pour of a bottle of Weller 12 and now the last pour of my SB blend. Call it spring cleaning, if you like. MyOldKyDram
That's the kind of spring cleaning I would gladly help with.
Grain Belt
Maker's 46 for the first time. It is the bottle of the month at my local monger. 27 bucks. After two pours I would say it is worth about $18. I must not dig younger wheaters. Then again my last pour was a Wild Turkey 12 year old that I liked so much I contemplated sawing the bottle in half so I could lick the remnants of the nectar. Maybe I am into a little rye and a little age. Maybe I set the bar to high. Maybe I need to buy a pickup load of OGD BIB and not think so much. BlackPrairie
EC12 for me this evening. I'm not sure why MS getting ECBP seems to be a pipe dream. Oh well... maybe a trip to TX to pick up my bourbon cache in early June will take my mind off of it.

petrel800
I'm back baby, had some issues for the last few days, not sick, but avoided the drink.Made a Manhatten, 2 parts Ritt, 1 part Old Scout 120TPS, 1 part Carpano Antica, 4 shakes Fee Bros Whiskey Ageed Bitters. Turned out very well. I think I might go half and half with Ritt and OS TPS next time, but I'll do it again.Followed by some OGD114 and then a pour of the TPS Old Scout, been playing with adding water to this pour, it definitely benefits from a small amount of dilution. Brings the oak out which is nice.

tigerlam92
Had some PHC10 with a little piece of ice, let it melt and sit before drinking and it was just wonderful.
JPBoston
Had some OF Signature on ice early in the evening, while outside. The first few sips were really nice, the ice added a warm buttery feel/taste that isn't there when sipping neat.... but then the ice took over rather quickly and left only the sickly 'whiskey' taste I associate with sneaking little swigs of JD as a youth. thiemb
It's a school night but had fun hanging out with some fellow SBers at L&E and D's. WSR, OC10, VSOF, Willett 21, ECBP, IW Harper 15, and V21. Tried a couple of Brett's special wheater blends as well. Good stuff.
