BT followed by Bulleit. I may have got a mellow batch, but this BT is just way too mellow. It shows much less alcohol than it's proof, but also much less flavor than I'd prefer - a diluted Blanton's (thought I'd never dilute Blanton's). The Bulleit is rougher, but more flavorful (even if some flavors aren't so good, like charred corn).

I'm setting aside a sample of the BT to compare with my TPS selected BT.

Loving some ECBP on a Thursday night. Unfortunately forgot to load my Death Star ice globe before diluting, as I think this is the perfect dram for that!

The last pour of FRsmB..it might the last pour I have of this for awhile. A revelation showed me I can buy FRSB cheaper than the small batch, and I loves me some TPS FRSB

And with summer just around the corner, MC and HH BIB 6yr refrig style, is on deck

A little EC12. This particular bottle is a private selection from a store by my parents. Seems Heaven Hill was quite proud of this one as they named it "The Rockstar" on the label where it says "Bottled for...". I must admit, this is the best EC12 I've had yet. The wood seems a little more prevalent with this one, with a creamy, buttery toffee finish. Awesome. I hope there's still some left at the store the next time I visit the folks.

Having the first pour of bourbon in over a week due to a flu bug... starting it off with some 4RSmB. Life is getting better!

Hmm, I think I'll crack open some OWA. I haven't had any open in about a week.

Having a pour of ORVW 107. This bottle is getting close to the end, just means room for a new bottle!

Had a few pours of HH Larceny tonight. This is the bourbon that made me realize I AM a fan of wheaters. Will be looking for a handle with the $20 rebate tomorrow. Fine stuff and priced right IMO.

Nice pours of EC12 and EC12BP. Enjoyed them both.

A little pour of OF 1849 before heading off to bed. Not the most complex thing out there, but a pleasant hit of corny, sweet vanilla goodness that coats the mouth nicely. It's a good nightcap.

Started with Rendezvous, moved to Wisers legacy, and finishing with some VOB BIB. Surprise end to the lineup, but it's what I wanted after the two.

Coming back to my SW by having a big pour of PVW 23, neat.

Edit: this is so much better than the JPS18. Just want to gulp it down like your favorite . . .

Cheers

OK, today is Friday, right?

Right!

So I took the steps down down down to the bunker and I came up with this.

W. L. Weller Centennial from The Bourbon Heritage Collection.

Friday is not the only reason but that is as good of one as a person can come up with.

But I also made a major work related decision today that I am satisfied with.

So that's why I dug out the Centennial.

Cheers to me and to you kind members of the mighty mighty SB.com world.

Rollins Creek of course.

In all seriousness, the Bulleit 10 year old, on a welcome day off, it's pretty good.
