Thanks for sharing the notes Crowes! Looks like the group definitely leans towards the wheaters (outside of you). I think that is a great idea - having a mix of different proofs, different mashbills, different distilleries and see what happens.

FR1BLE 2013. Hot damn is this tasty. Another winner from Mr. Rutledge.

Decided to put in a little OT at work today. Not a bad day, and the overall week was pretty good too. Kinda scary. :skep: Got home from work today and celebrated with a nice healthy pour of ER 101. Good way to end a decent week.

Cheers! Joe

Good stuff, man. My bottle tastes just same as the day I opened it 5 months ago (despite what others have reported.)

I'm going with some OWA and then we'll see where it goes from there.

A little Craig 12 while watching the Pacers-Knicks game after a long day of soccer. What the hey, time a for a little more Craig 12 or maybe Weller 12. Bourbon was made for nights like this.

Having my first pour with my Death Star ice ball. Learned the hard way that you should start with the Death Star in the glass  My wife got a kick out of me trying to gently lower the Death Star into my pour of CEHTBP (my logic being that I didn't want to pour over it and ruin the detail at the top - you can BARELY see the dimple which is the Death Star's laser . . . something). As you can probably imagine, at some point the Death Star simply plops - splashing bourbon all over my hands, the counter, and the top of the Death Star. Made her laugh, which was worth spilling a bit

Well it would be rather anti-climactic if something as menacing sounding as a Death Star didn't wreak some sorta havoc!! ;) Just be happy you didn't vaporize on the spot!

I've switched over to a "Squire" on this rainy day in Georgia. 2:1 VOBBIB to OGBBIB. I like it better with a higher percentage of VOB to counter the bluntness of the OGD. The OGD's signature heavy ryeishness can be domineering at times.

At or near the top of the Beam lineup for me. Beam spends not a dime promoting this brand, but I am very glad they keep bottling it!

Bakers tonight. Was a gift.
