Early this morning had a equal mixture of Weller Centennial and WLW 134.8. I allowed it to stand for about 20 minutes and enjoyed. Very nice entry, mouth feel, and finish. Very nice combination.

Took a trip to TPS Friday before hitting the new downtown Cincy casino, since they're only a few minutes from each other.

So tonight I'm mixing it up a bit. A little ryed bourbon, TPS FRSB. And a little wheated bourbon, TPS OWA .Not vatted, just usually dont drink the 2 different mashbills in the same night. Both are such easy drinkers, and very yummy.

An added thought: it seems we all love the barrel strength FR's, myself included. But this 100 proof iteration certainly ain't no dog.

Black Maple Hill, Carpano Antica sweet vermouth, Cherry Heering (3-1-1) shaken over ice

Had a little wheater night after work: ORVW 10/107, OWA 7yr, & OWA NAS. The last one was mostly for comparison and it held up remarkably well. A bit drier than the others, but still very good.

At or near the top of the Beam lineup for me. Beam spends not a dime promoting this brand, but I am very glad they keep bottling it!

Not complaining for sure!

Went to make breakfast and spotted a bottle of coffee liqueur on the count so thought what the hey. Took a sip and concluded one must seriously be in need of a drink in order to swallow that stuff so I substituted Barton and the Universe came back into balance.

I'm not a morning person, but don't think I'd mind the early wake-up call if I lived in your house! :yum:

Wake up call was at about 0530. Get up make the blend, do the morning clean up make coffee and you're ready to go. It always helps when I'm home alone.

I think the WLW 117.9 and PHC 10 may be better but I'll pass judgment again in a month or so.

A pour of Willett Pot Still - which is starting to grow on me. Figures - I'll start to like it as the bottle empties :)

First 90-degree day of the year in Ohio so I pulled the OGD BIB out of the freezer. It stands up really well to the cold.

I have never tried this but have seen it. Just curious, what would you compare to?

Forgive me father for I have sinned . . . I really wanted a bourbon and I wanted a pepsi, so I mixed a little SB Blend into my Pepsi.

I suppose tomorrow as penance I will have to have 2 WLWs, a Saz 18, and an OGD114. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Started off the evening manning the grill with some EW BIB on the rocks. Then moved on to VOB BIB, EB SB, and OWA. Not a bad evening.
