Jlbags
Day started off great! Found an ORVW10 and a 12 Handy in the wild. They rang up at 129.99! No thanks...It got better. Found 2 Stagg jr and 3 Boureye in the wild at suggested retail. Came home with a smile.
GaryT
Well see the thing is, is... I live in Utah. I'm a heathen. The majority of the folks here, who are not heathens, don't drink alcohol. More for me. I never thought of that . . . if I ever think about moving, need to factor this into the decision WAY too many bourbon enthusiasts around Atlanta these days! tanstaafl2
I never thought of that . . . if I ever think about moving, need to factor this into the decision WAY too many bourbon enthusiasts around Atlanta these days! Probably should consider that while the competition might be reduced in Utah the choices are also likely reduced in a control state run by people not particularly sympathetic to the needs of us heathens! squire
Well if I'm gonna be a heathen anyway may as well be one where the pickins are good.

And thanks to all the bourbon enthusiasts around Atlanta, most of the bourbon in GA doesn't make it to Savannah!

393foureyedfox
stopped myself from stopping myself from buying a bottle of Fighting Cock. Been wanting to try it forever, but everytime i grab it, i put it back, thinking it will be basically the same thing as HH white BIB. Just had a sip, and im glad i finally bought one. Pretty good, and may even be as well liked as my OGD 114....it surprised me. it 'feels' higher than 103 proof, and that i like....it has that 'bite' to italso picked up a Charter 101. I figured at $15, it was a way to try some BT product at 101 proof. decent stuff, but think I like the FC more.was also wanting to pick up and try a Ritt BIB, but couldnt find any at the 3 stores i went to. also was looking for an AAA 10 year for a friends upcoming b-day, but could not find any 750's, only 1.75's.......and since im not sure he'd enjoy it (hes curious about it), i'll pass until i can get to the store where i know there is some. Kalessin
Last week, I picked up a regular Knob Creek to take camping with the extended family, and a current Old Forester Signature because I haven't seen it in MA. Oh, also a Booker's 50ml to add to my small but growing collection of "better" whiskies in tiny bottles.
GaryT
Not quite a case, but picked up several bottles of our GBS pick of ETL, along with one bottle of the store's pick (which was our 2nd place finisher). Should be stocked in ETL for many years to come

Should be stocked in ETL for many years to come You and me both! But won't get my hands on it until the weekend. Somehow didn't realize the second barrel was going to become the store pick. Will be fun to compare and contrast. Edited August 14, 2013 by tanstaafl2

Nillion
did you HAVE TO put "more" in there.........just to taunt me?:smiley_acbt:I feel like this is some cosmic bourbon joke played on the majority of people at this time. The closest I've seen of ECBP in the wild at this point is an empty shelf with the price label beneath it. In the more accessible realm, I picked up a bottle of ETL and WT101.
