Paddy
The more alarming thing is "sister" products that come out after a successful product launch.Bud Light lime-a-Rita spawned straw-beer-ita. Redds apple ale and now Redds strawberry ale. Kinky pink liqueur and now kinky blue. With bourbon/whiskey it doesn't happen as much. I guess the honey/cinnamon flavor trend is part of it.There should be a law against honey and/or cinnamon being added to perfectly good bourbon. Isn't that what corn liquor is for? As to the Lexington Bourbon... It has a pretty dolled bottle label for the collectors of such things and it is excellent to receive as a gift. Enoch
I'm pretty sure straight whiskey cannot have caramel added.
squire
A blend of straights may be labeled as a Straight.
ChainWhip
A blend of straights may be labeled as a Straight.I was scratching my head over how PVW could be a blend of SW/Bernheim/BT & still be considered "Straight" - this explanation makes perfect sense. squire
I should add that rule holds if the straights originate from the same State. A straight from Indiana mixed with a straight from Kentucky is called a blend of straights which to me sounds like protectionist nonsense.
