Virus_Of_Life
Should have had this one up a few days ago, but running a little behind on things, so it may only run a short while. It's Turkey day month, which will go best with a pile of turkey, stuffing and gravy? WhiskyRI
Oy, that's a tough call. I have to confess for me Turkey day month is a bourbon month. American holiday, American hooch. But staying in Scotland - I'm going to toss out a vote for Edradour - formerly the smallest distillery in Scotland - it's an often unknown highland whisky. But I always have a bottle open. If we wanted to stray from the shores of Alba I'd put a vote in for Amrut from India. Many people already know the quality of their spirit but many still seem shocked by good whisky coming from India - or should I say Indians, but not those Indians.... (yes, I know it's bad but I have little resistance to the easy pun). Their Fusion is excellent and their Intermediate Sherry - is everything a sherry bomb should be. So for me - Edradour followed by Amrut.
WhiskyRI
For some reason I missed the actual poll so ignore my previous thread. Caol Ila was my first 'serious" bottle of whisky and I hated it because I had never had a peated whisky before. Luckily I've come around and now really enjoy it. In fact I have several SMWSA bottles of Caol Ila - including some 21 year and 22 year old. I'll have to crack one of them if it is chosen.
AaronWF
This is the perfect time of the year for Caol Ila.
Virus_Of_Life
This is the perfect time of the year for Caol Ila.I agree Aaron, that's why it didn't win last month and got back in this month and will likely be back in the poll each of the winter months until it wins. ChainWhip
I voted for Glen Garioch because I'm curious but I am more than ok w/ Caol Ila - I've yet to purchase my own bottle of malt from the largest distillery on Islay
RVTsteve
All the more reason to pick one up!I voted Caol Ila. It's that time of year and I have a Distillery Edition that I need one more reason to crack open.
LostBottle
Caol Ila for me. I think the 12 unpeated is my favorite (heresy, I know).
DrBob
Caol Ila 12 I can get at my local purveyor, so willing to give that a shot.
MtnDew
Crap, I don't have any of the three and after BTAC hunting I'm out of funds... I'll try to get a sample at one of my local drinking establishments so I can pretend to participate this month.

ChainWhip
Are you offering? Someone in my small "whiskey circle" is bound to have one. Too bad it's so hard to get mini's of many scotchs, it would be very convenient.

ChainWhip
I have not been there yet but will have to give it a try. I know that 'Lit', the cigar lounge in Snoqualamie Casino, had Caol Ila previously so I should be covered either way.
MtnDew
I'm probably going to head over one of these nights and do a vertical - figure out what I want for the bar.
