at Lexington Beerworks, and FFF Permanent Funeral at Country Boy. Good day.

thanks to the urging/brow-beating by a certain SB member who spells his name in all capital letters, I bought and had my first Chillwave tonight. What an outstanding beer! Plenty of hops, citrus, a little bit of pine and something else I can't quite figure out. A great choice for when you want an double IPA with a little more kick

It was a Country Boy kinda day. A vanilla bomb brown ale Shotgun Wedding followed by Knotty Pine DIPA (that does not taste like bong water).:grin:

I had a bottle of Short's Superfluid, a double IPA, about a week ago. I initially described my first few sips of it just as you stated in your description above - from entry to finish it went plenty of hops, citrus, a little bit of pine and something else I couldn't figure out. Until the third sip. It was the pungent taste of marijuana. And each drink after that the dankness became evermore powerful. I didn't like it and I really had to choke down the last few swallows. I had always wondered what a dank IPA was and now I know.

Is that what you were picking up?

Marijuana, eh? Why.....I wouldn't have the foggiest idea what that would taste like :grin:
