Old Dusty
So, who has heard of and or tasted "Speakeasy Select" bourbon bottled for the Seelbach's Rathskeller bar? Never heard tell of it or knew it existed until today. Here is the only Internet reference I could find:http://www.owensborobourbonsociety.com/bourbon-reviews/limited-releases/69-speakeasy-select-seelbach-bar.html
PaulO
The article says it's from KBD. I would imagine that everything we know about the KBD single barrel bourbons apply.
HighInTheMtns
I'm too lazy to go find it but there's information around here about it. Summary: this was bottled at the same time as Rathskeller Rye, but sold out rather quickly, being a bourbon rather than a rye.
squire
Um, I know, I know, (Squire holding his hand up) whoops, forgot it. They say memory is the first thing to go or at least I think that's what they said.
Pirate762
I have had both the Speakeasy Select and Rathskeller Rye at the Seelbach. I thought both were really good, but the ambiance may have influenced that somewhat. IIRC the menu price was high $40 or so for each. They did not charge that though.
