Hump day. It's been a weird week at work so far, but not in a bad way for a change. :skep: Having a couple of pours of ER 10/101 just because.

Gave the OverPriced bottle of Booker's 25th another go.

Still harsh, still not that special, though a bit improved with some time open and a little air.

Maybe more time/more air will improve it a little more.... Time will tell.

Try it at the Gazebo in a week and a half, and see if you find more than me.......

Dimpled bottle Old Forester BIB, because I deserve it! :D. Sweet caramel with nice husky leathery backbone. An incredibly thick and syrupy mouthfeel. The back label states: This whiskey is 4 yrs old. I don't believe that for a second. Pushing 8, I'd say.

Darn Joe. You're making me salivate. :yum: Loves me some Old Forester BIB. Those old dimpled bottles sure were/are good ones. Only had the pleasure of one. Sighhhhhhhhh.

Had some JBW at the bar because that was the best they had. Home and enjoying some Knob Creek now.

A healthy pour of TPS John J Bowman SB with a Fonseca robusto and a fire, braving the cold.

A number of 4R barrel selections and limiteds (2011-2013). Eagerly awaiting tomorrow's arrival of a couple of our barrel selections. All will be at the sampler FYI.

Nope. Well over a year now. They won't answer our calls but have told other retailers that the barrel program was suspended.

Not sure if we will ever see our barrels.

Seriously? I have followed your posts here for some time, but I have to ask. You legitimately picked out a barrel, was told it would be bottled, time passes, and now they won't even answer your phone calls? Nothing??? You didn't take a dump behind their still, or anything...?

Nothing. Have spoken with the binnys people and they have 20 plus barrels they are waiting on. Some 20+ years old.

Maybe I will head over to willett during the sampler to get answers Chris Hanson style.

Is there a bathroom

In the gs? Upper deck, Eric. Upper deck.

I've never visited willett. We are 25 miles away but they sent samples even though we offered to make a trip over.
