The "what bourbon did you pass up" thread inspired me to revisit my NAS BMH to see if my negative opinion of it has changed. I'm still underwhelmed by it, though the longer it sits in the glass, the better it's tasting. Still, there are plenty of $25-35 bottles I like better so this bottle is not living up to its mythic status.

Costco here finally started stocking bulleit bourbon in the 1.75 fun size (hey, it is Costco after all). $30.99 after the instant rebate. I'm not a bulleit nut but $30 for over two full bottles of solid 4R juice is a deal in my book. Now just to make the thing last long enough so the Mrs. doesn't ask "where did that giant bottle of Costco bourbon go"?

First taste of SAOS7. Buttery and delicious. Now trying to kill off the 12 year old medley. Sorry, but this is awful. Need to move onto something decent.

Binny's KCSB #150, good, but not nearly as good as my Dep's KCSB bottle, that stuff is excellent!

One more before I see you guys in the Commonwealth.

Enjoy that yeti. Had my first Makers 46 pour tonight, very delicious with few drops to open the aromas. Went with an unopened OGDBiB for second pour. Not bad but I need to explore it more, I was underwhelmed but I see how much all other bottles open up for some reason after cracking the seal. I'll explore this in the next week each night.

A Yeti sighting in KY requires locking your doors and corking your whiskey. Nothing is safe! We need pictures!

Enjoyed a little, ok a lot EWSB, and now some SA 6 YR.

WLW and a splash of water. Short week but long enough.

Going to end on a good note as work IT today was able to help out my issues with a software update. Finally get to move into the realm of big data metric crunching.

Had a glass of IW Harper 4 yr from a dusty and a ND distilled Old Taylor from 1980. The harper can't touch the OT.

2 healthy pours of Weller12, now trying to finish off an OBSQ that hasn't really ever done it for me.

Having some FR 125th wishing I was at the gazebo. This will have to do until tomorrow. Looking forward to getting down there tomorrow. Cheers!

A good night at the local watering hole. VOB 6 90, Eagle Rare 101, and capped it off with Stagg. Had the pleasure of introducing some friends to Stagg and watching their eyes light up.

Opened a bottle of RHF to celebrate the return of the Harrison twins!

Visited the gazebo and discussed the same to the horror of a gator fan. Some decent bourbon too.

Bought, cracked, and drank a bunch of EW Black Label tonight. Not very complex, but a great value pour.
