FR OESV with a splash of YL. It's a lazy mans small batch, but it's delicious.

GD 9y SB. The GD ( although not a bourbon) is very good. I think I will get another for the bunker.

or 7 or 8........

One of these days I'm going to come home with a Dickel 9 or 14 and it's pretty much going to be because of you fox.

ECBP #1 134.2 The rootbeer colored, well balanced barrel proof. Thanks to a fellow SBer I was able to acquire one of these last year and have been slowly enjoying it. The balance of barrel proof and wood to create a product instantly drinkable is not easy and not common these days. This is a go to if you are just going to have one...

Had some 2006 WTKS and then finished up with some 2013 GTS.

I have to admit that it's because of Fox that I bought one. I'm not a big fan of GD, but I'm glad I got a chance to try this one.

Yeah, but mine was brilliantly crafted...twice...and worthy of at least 4 repeats...

I uploaded a pewter WTKS in the dusty thread like 15 times. I mean, I like the bottle but, with the pictures, it looked like I REALLY LOVED the bottle.

Its early, but I just had to try a sip of this Copper City Bourbon I picked up in Tempe, AZ. Tastes super-corny (which I expected to some degree with its age, or lack thereof - but made me think there was a higher corn content in the mashbill than there is - according to their website, this is 75% corn, 20% rye, 5% barley). Thinking this will be used mostly for cocktails.

Last night every pour was SAOS 7 yr. I just love everything about this bottle.

Now that it's Sat. morning it's time for some OGD114 in me coffee.

First pour of my 2014 Sampler mingle (which includes FRSmB, Blantons, WTRB, EC12, Bookers, KC, Michter's Sour Mash, and FRSB). The nose is non-existent, but they get along on the palate better than I expected. Although this might be the most expensive 200 mL I own

Usually just going to Target to grocery shop is enough to deplete my life force on a Saturday. But today I also ran a 5K, closed out a storage unit and moved stuff to the house, and then posted many ads for our stuff for sale. All in preparation of our baby later this year. I'm rewarding myself with 3oz of EC21 to start the evening. Gonna put a steak on the grill later. And then sleep oh so well.

Polishing off a bottle of OBSF from the gift shop - wish I had another OBSF just like it.

EW SB 2003. When I first opened this bottle last month it didn't really strike me as anything special, but I'm really enjoying it tonight.

Decided to have small pour of SAOS as my after dinner drink. Really like this stuff!

I hesitated due to the price at first. First few sips, I didnt quite get it, then it kicked in. It's a peculiar profile, something totally unlike any other bourbon or whiskey Ive had. Give it a shot!

and what'd you think of it?

Im having some of it right now, celebrating my completion and graduation from an RN program today. Nothing better to celebrate it with, in my mind!
