Im having some of it right now, celebrating my completion and graduation from an RN program today. Nothing better to celebrate it with, in my mind!

I cracked open a 2007 Stagg to celebrate my brother graduating law school. It's one of the best pours either of us had ever had.

Sounds like a lot of fun, Ryan.
He always has a great time over here sharing pours though he was a bit overwhelmed at the Gazebo this year to say the least, but he's catching on.

Smooth Ambler Yearling. 2yr-6mo. Nothing offensive with nice touch of sweetness, but still quite a ways to go...

Back from another sub-par outing for the Indy Eleven(pro soccer for you heathens). Hitting up some OF BB '13 for a nightcap. Thanks to a fellow SBer for helping me find a couple for the bunker. Love this stuff.

and what'd you think of it

I'm really enjoying it. It's very smooth and has lots of flavor.

Congratulations on becoming a RN.

I haven't been dusty hunting in a few months or more, but it's just about gone down here. That goes for all bourbon. I'm sure if you wanted to hit 50-100 + stores you could find a few bottles from 2006 and up. That would be about it. If you can't find any when you are in town I'm sure I could pull one out of my stash or at least share some with you.

Did you find this recently? I randomly came across a bottle sitting on the floor behind the counter at a Big Red when picking up bookers25. Was completely shocked to still see it.

2 firsts tonight. A pour of the bottles of old fitz 1849 I had to special order in Pa, and a heavy pour of my new standby bulleit bourbon. Not sure its really 4R juice, seems at least a portion is from my small tastes so far. Enough so that its delicious at the price and availability here in my town.

Enjoying some ECBP on the balcony and wondering what to follow it with should I choose to do so.

Got a wild hair and poured half ECBP and EC21. To my delight, they're getting along wonderfully.

Hidden

No, it was several months ago and over in Brookville. Big Red had a ton when they were first released and that is where I got my first one. By the time I decided it was bunker-worthy they were long gone from Indy. SB comes through again.

No several months ago and over in Brookville. Big Red seems to get a lot of "random" premium bottles.

Did a little experimenting last night, 50/50 CEHT Small Batch and Barrel Proof. I like the small batch on its own, the barrel proof kicked it up a notch, although I found I liked it even better with just a small splash of water.

Oh yeah, congrats on the graduation, fox.

Went camping this weekend. Shared some ETL with a friend. It was great even out of the plastic solo cups we had on hand. Drinking bourbon and watching a fire. 2 of the worlds great joys.

One of my favorite bourbon drinking memories is a bottle of Old Rip 10/107, consumed entirely out of the Evian water bottle we had to pour it into in order to smuggle it into Bonnaroo. Sometimes it's the company and the setting that matters most.
