horn1602
Larceny is leaving a strange taste in my mouth tonight, so I'm switching it up to see if it's just a bad night or the Larceny in particular. Gonna go with HM BIB and see what happens.
tylermke
After a few beers, onto some 2011 Stagg. As much as I love GTS, I hardly ever reach for it during the summer. Tonight has been unusually cool, so I'm taking advantage of the weather the best I can.

kjbeggs
Opened my bottle of Red-Handed bourbon tonight. Kind of hot for 42%, slightly corn-forward, but also something that reminds me of regular Willett (which I am not crazy about). It'll mix OK with Coke though... flahute
New leaf, nothing but ice water.Small Batch or Single Barrel? I'm on my second night of Bulleit. This was an early in the journey purchase and it's been sitting around for a while so I'm trying to kill it off.
393foureyedfox
WT101 tonight. Its was a bit warm here today, and my stash is upstairs at my computer desk, and its a bit warm up here today. The WT101, Im guessing because it was a fairly warm pour, came across more like Booker's tonight than WT101, which isnt a bad thing, but made me do a doubletake. It doesnt linger like Bookers though. kcgumbohead
Some PS 4R OESQ 9 yr 5 mo 118p which I cut to 100. Very enjoyable pour last night. I am liking this bottle more and more, its still the most standard bourbon 4R I have which is not a knock just a comment on the profile, its bourbon 101. The flavors of vanilla and butterscotch are perfectly balanced with just the right balance of spice and at 9yr 5 mo there is a hint of wood but not too much, again everything in balance. Just a really nice pour. The butterscotch in it actually brought back memories of the PVW15 I've had minus the spice. JR can really work some magic and hell yes I'm part of the cult!! CL
In the summer, I like to take a bold bourbon and pour just a taste on a large ice cube. (I have the 2" x 2" square cubes.) Just swirl it a few times and drink it. Little melt, full taste. Repeat every few minutes. :-) Tonight it's ECBP batch #3. This goes really well with this treatment. Cheers! garbanzobean
Finishing off the last of my Four Roses OESO (10yr, 8 months) from Hi-Time Wines. I'm getting heavy chocolate oranges and baking spices tonight, and not complaining at all.
dmarkle
Some Lot B and PVW 20. The PVW 20 is now gone, alas, but that's another thread. Retried the Lot B which I found bitter the other night. It still has bitterness on the finish. The 20 was still enjoyable, but it was so low it was on its way down as well. Let this be a lesson to you, boys and girls. FRIENDS DON"T LET FRIENDS KEEP LOW BOTTLES AROUND! DRINK THEM!

OutlawSW
Started with a SBS of PHC 4 and WLW '12, 2 of my favs and a SBS iv done before the PHC 4 usually wins and it did tonight. PHC 4 may be my all time fav whisky, wish I could someday find more. Now on to a SBS of EHT SB and SAOS 10, SAOS wins with more sweetness and less wood than EHT.
