TunnelTiger
JBSB, the longer I have this open and the more I drink the less I like. It started off great but has moved to meh. May end up becoming part of my first vatting experiment.

bourbonfoot
I had a store select EC12 last night. Their earlier private EC12 is one of my favorite pours ever I think. This one has a great nose, but tastes really young so far. I'll see how it opens up but it doesn't quite live up to it's predecessor.
GaryT
First pour in 8 days (hate hate hate sinus infections). Decided to tackle some dusty "log cabin" EW BIB. Ol factory is clearly still impaired, but enjoying what I am getting.

Gillman
I've got a Four Roses Yellow Label in a small tumbler. New bottle just purchased and it's interesting how each is slightly different. Sometimes it's a little raw, or too woody, or too spirity, but often it is just right as now. Creamy soft, complex, perfumed. Perfect for neat sipping. The great price is just a bonus.Gary

bourbonfoot
Kinda works? Started with a Bourbon County Barley Wine tonight. Love the body on this pour, wish they had smaller bottles though bc 6-8 oz is enough for me.Moved on to EWSB 2003 and then some ETL. I gotta start drinking some of it if I'm gonna be bunkering all we have in VA.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

BFerguson
Last pour of PHC golden from the bottle last night, a expensive bottle, but I would recommend it as a must try to anyone. After, that, some WLW was next in the lineup, no slouch either.B
dcbt
Had some ER10 and W12 last night but wasn't really feeling either though the W12 gradually eased itself nicely down. One of those rare unbourbony nights. Someone mentioned earlier that the same dram from the same bottle might strike him differently even on the same night. I do think diet, exercise, stress, fatigue, etc, all contribute to what strikes our bourbon taste buds on any given night.
unclebunk
Pappy 15 down the hatch Thursday night with a few close friends. Awesome as always, but today I'm going to smoke some ribs for the first time this year and I'm looking for a nice "session" whiskey to sip on throughout the afternoon. Thinkin' I'll go with JTS Brown BIB and HH BIB which should do the trick nicely.
