P&MLiquorsEric
It's the size that I wish all pappy was released in. That way we could sell everyone a bottle of pappy.
ItsJackNow
Just finishing a healthy pour of the ECBP 133.2 with a little splash of water. Now that's a good glass of whiskey!
Quantum
I imagine you could get a pretty steep margin out of 100ml bottles of pappy. I decided to go with Four Roses tonight, so I started with the standard single barrel, then OESV and OBSK.
kjbeggs
kept it simple with some JD distiller's Select #1, followed by 4RSB,
TunnelTiger
Had my first pour of 1792RR last night. Seemed a little hot out of the bottle and that sort of surprised me with it being less than 100 proof.Going to let this one sit for awhile. kcgumbohead
Went back to the 4R OBSQ/OESV/YL vatting last night, will drop the YL for the next round to ramp up the overall spice.

mbroo5880i
We had BBQ turkey meatballs for dinner. I like them but usually spice them up with a lot of pepper. Decided I needed to drink something hot to break through the spice. Having a nice pour of barrel strength OESK. Nice and hot.
whiskeyagonzo
Since I don't have to work tomorrow I'm having the first of probably several generous pours. At the moment it's some 2006 WTKS.

KyleCBreese
No work tomorrow and the Flyers are on. Started with a CEHT SB. First time I have had that and I loved it. Then moving on to Calumet Farms. Need to finish this one off to make more space.
BonVivant84
Starting with batch 3 ECBP tonight and had good size cube in there for about 5 min that I then took out as the dilutions was perfect. Been drinking this mostly neat or only with a few drops of water and this is a great change of pace. I really feel like I'm getting a fuller oak taste with the heat now in the background Now I kind of have a newbie question re: finish. I'm not sure how to properly describe it. When I drink it closer to neat it's thick and it feels like it lingers on my tongue and the heat sticks around for a long time. So I would say it has a long finish. Now how I'm having it tonight diluted down it feels noticeably thinner and goes away right away. Same with the heat. But what does stick around for is that great oak flavor, in fact it's this specific flavor at the end that's making it so enjoyable overall and making me want to grab the glass as soon as it fades. Anyways. Would I say it's a short finish because now the main flavors when it's neat now are the quickest to go when diluted and I'm really just tasting barrel? Hope that made sense. dcbt
Accidentally put this in the rye thread earlier, which is doubly unfortunate because I definitely do not enjoy rye whiskey:Weller 12 tonight, it's the perfect combination spicy smooth flavor country. s8ist
CEHT BP followed by Stagg Jr. Really should be the other way around, but it's hard to start with Stagg Jr. and end up with anything other than a hang over!
Paddy
CEHT BP followed by Stagg Jr. Really should be the other way around, but it's hard to start with Stagg Jr. and end up with anything other than a hang over!Yep, I'd start with the Taylor, because after the bambi I wouldn't be able to taste anything else!I started off with VSOF and then moved on to AAA 10 yr. The wood influence is significant in the Fitz and makes it a little on the dry side. The AAA is liquid candy in a bottle and better than current ETL and/or RHF IMO.
