Thanks Joe. Went from excited to stoked today, all I wanted was healthy, definitely would have loved a baby girl, but hearing the OB say boy today was a whole other level.

Right on petrel! Congrats! I'd have joined you with a limited special pour, but I've already got a big pour of OGD114 in the glass. I'm enjoying the heck out of this pour tonight - just a little water added really opened it up and dulled the alcohol on the nose.

It was very hot today. I enjoyed an Old Bardstown pool side with my better half earlier. I'm working on a HM BIB watching the final innings of the Giants game....I'm enjoying this night...

Got home from work today, and I'm having a nice pour (or two) of FRSB. :rolleyes: Yeah I know. I admit that I'm an avowed wheater lover, but a man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do. :cool:

And for you folks that have been giving me a hard time about my seemingly new found taste for FR's, here, hold this for me….. :slappin:

Joe's got something new to stockpile. I'd say that's a good thing.

A few of this and that while wearing out my thumb with some good friends last night: WT 101, Party Source 11 year Willett FE, Larceny, 4R OBSK-P &M Liquors and ECBP 15 year-GBS...all hit the spot in their own great bourbony way :grin:.

Had some Maker's last night, a blend of 46 and regular. I had half-full bottles of each, and as I am in consolidation mode, the obvious choice was to dump them together and let them sit a couple of weeks. I come to tell you that this tasted like, well, Maker's. Seriously though, it tasted good and no big surprise, works as a vatting.

I'm already pondering what to break out tonight - on the eve of my baby's graduation from college, and she just landed a job, so I have a couple things worth celebrating as well.

Haha, I didn't want to hi-jack Mark's good news until he had some time to enjoy that HHSS! Bruce is right, we had our baby boy last night at 10pm. Looks like I'll miss the bash tomorrow night...y'all have fun!

Lat night I decided to open my bottle of Barterhouse. The pour was sort of underwhelming. I expected some oak and harshness but all I got was mellow. This highlited even more when I followed that up with a pour of ETL and then ECBP. Wow, these two kick some a$$!

Oh and congrats on the baby boy, nothing more better in life!
