For a young whisky, NAS, I found it very easy to drink. They use mash (100% barley) from the local Shipwrecked brew pub. It has youthful alcohol on the nose and palate but given a little time in the glass, a small drop of water, and it becomes sweet, confectioner sugar comes to mind, combined with barrel spice notes ("aged in American oak"). Not bad for a young whisky and not priced ridiculously for what it is ($24.99).
