ckanders
Starting to feel very jealous of all of you. In Central NJ, there has been no signs of OFBB, 4RLESmB, VW, BTAC, HWMWND, PHC8. Nothing limited at all.i agree - haven't found any of these limited releases

nd2005
i dont even bother to look. just as you wont ever see me out on black friday, or the week after christmas....no thanks!I may crack and buy a new TV for Black Friday this year. But if I do...I'll be buying it online (so cyber monday I guess, is that still a thing?).I just wish I could move my bourbon shopping to 99% online like all my other retail shopping... squire
I don't know if I would want the temptation of being able to buy Bourbon online.
jp_stargazer
I had given up hope on High West's Midwinter Nights Dram after Binny's could not get it for me at the store in Bloomington, IL. Then last night I wander into my local store (that doesn't get much for limited releases typically) and am surprised to see that they had about 6 bottles and they were the same price as Binny's! I bought 2. I enjoy Rendezvous Rye, and MWND is familiar in that regard, but overall very different from anything I've had before. A lot of flavors going on, I really enjoy it. Now we will see if/how the taste changes after being opened for a little while. Jason
bmajazz
Total surprise this morning. Jim Beam Double Aged 8 year, $10.99 on clearance at Ralph's (grocery store). I got it home and noticed that it had been opened/damaged, hence the discount. The whiskey looks fine though, and I'll take a bottle missing 25ml any day. GaryT
After close to 40 stores in 3 days of dusty hunting turned up damn near nothing (some pre-2012 Lot 40), I couldn't believe my luck to walk into a store and find GTS and THH on the shelf at retail! Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!! I wanted to let them know that they might want to lock them up, and not worry about the LSB 13yr Rye they had in the cabinet (at $125). portugieser
Picked up a FR LE Small Batch - very nice stuff. Maybe not as ungodly great as 2012 and 2013, but still divine.

Trey Manthey
I decided to give the PHC Wheat Whiskey another go round. Last time I tried it it was 11 AM at Tales of the Cocktail and I'd just come from a seminar on 34 different bitter flavors (with samples!), so in retrospect my palate probably wasn't in tip-top shape.
