Restocked a store selection of Jefferson's Very Old, Very Small Batch, and a store select Blanton's while I was there.

Took an opportunity while back.in Kentucky visiting for Christmas to make the 60 mile drive to P&M from the board here and picked up four bottles of his 4R selections as well a a Willett barrel select then a bottle of MM for the parents to make their "cough syrup"

Was looking for HH6BIB but they didn't have it. Stopped at another store on the way back and picked them clean 6 750's and a 1.75 so I'm well stocked from this trip.

Nice! you probably chuckled all the way to the car too, realizing youd spent about $75 for all that

I didnt buy bourbon, but bought an EW eggnog and a Miller pony 8-pack for dad. He likes Miller's once or twice a year, and loves eggnog, so I thought he might like this.

Out picking up rib eyes and potatoes for the grill tonight I got another bottle of ER10 barrel pick. Before I bunker a case just want to be sure it tastes as good as the first one.

Spent nearly the whole day hitting up liquor stores in my hometown looking for dusties or BTAC/Pappy sitting on shelves at exorbitant prices (not even to buy just never even seen these in the wild) but absolutely no luck at either. Did find an OGD ball marker / divot repair tool for $2 though, that came home.

After a disappointment laden day, a bright spot appeared - a private pick barrel proof OBSV from 2011. It was nearly $50, but still a deal if they're really going to $80 next year. Then in a seasonal miracle, it rang up at $29.99. I informed them of their mistake but they still honored the price. Should've cleared the shelf but thought better of it.

Good on you for pointing that out! Good on them for honoring the mistake also! Heck 29.99 for a standard 4roses single barrel is even a decent price.

Picked up a couple more bottles of HH6BIB. I'm good on these now for the bunker.

Those looking it appears they are fairly plentiful around the Bowling Green KY area.

Picked up the JD Holiday Select 2014, two bottles actually. I got one for my dad for Christmas; we tried it that night and I actually liked it quite a bit. So today I got one for me as well, and then one for my newly born daughter. I figure since she was born during the holiday season it would make for a good gift to her in 21 years.

Congrats and that is a very cool gesture for her 21st birthday.

Stopped at Jungle Jim's on the way to the airport. .just because. Oh look, they have 6 or 7 bottles of Tom's Foolery. I pull 6 bottles out to look at them. All batch 2. One bottle left, of course they are on the top shelf, and this one is pushed to the back. Stretch out, grab it....bingo, Batch 1

Bought my first ever personal bottle of Baker's today. Had it now and then while out, but never a bottle at home.

Paddy made me do it....

Out checking the local ABC stores in NV and 3 of 4 were pretty wiped out.

I did manage to pick up an EWBIB that gets good reviews here as well as the last OWA to add to the bunker. As tough as its getting to find anything Weller I decided to put back half a case of it.

Weller 12 is back in East Tennessee if you ask for it ( stores seem to be keeping it in the back and off the shelves). Picked up two 750's for $26.99 each. The first store let me have just one for $43.00 includes tax and discount. Hindsight 20/20. Tim

I'm bad like that. Hopefully you'll enjoy as much as I do. I get a significant green wood note initially, that blooms nicely into a cinnamon stick drizzled in maple syrup finish. Moderately lengthy, but not quite as long as in your Dickel 9, IMO.

Yes......this. It's why I'm replacing my recently finished bottle.
