Drank a flask of Early Times 354 last night at a Blue Oyster Cult concert. Not the best bourbon, but it got the job done, and the show was awesome.

4RSB from the locker at the cigar lounge, smoking an RA Gordito from 2010 and reading a Bob Lee Swagger novel

Just opened my first bottle of OF 1870. Got a lot of mint on first taste. Too early to make any conclusions.

ER10 to start off the night. Nice profile following the Aberlour A'bunadh batch 49 I was nipping at while playing golf this afternoon.

The weather had me in the house most of the day so this afternoon I'm starting the evening out with a fire (even though it's a little warm) and a glass of Evan Williams SB vantage 2000. Always very good.

Working on my second pour of MM46. This is good stuff, but at times, I think I like the standard MM a little better.

Hade a couple homemade Makers sour tonight. homemade simple syrup, lemon juice and Maker's, shake well, and pour. Yummy. Gonna finish the night with a newly opened bottle of Maker's cask strength. A couple of these will get me right.

New Holland Beer Barrel Bourbon with some vermouth and bitters. It is going to take forever to kill this NHBBB bottle. :/

*On to some OGD114. I really like this stuff.

WT101. Simple. Perfect for chilling while grilling.

Funny, not something I hardly ever buy, but I always seem to enjoy it when I do more than I think I will.

I love that type of reliability.

A medium pour of Weller Centennial. A nice way to start a Sunday.

I like the way you roll on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

It was a wheater night. Started with a MMCS which was good. Followed by a OWA which really hit the spot tonight.

It's an Elijah Craig kind of day. Continued enjoying the EC12 I picked up yesterday and my second taste confirms the first. I figured, what the heck, EC is surprising me these days so I may as well finally open the EC21 I bought a year and a half ago but had not opened yet. Hmmmm.....fascinating bourbon. I decided some time ago that I don't care for extra aged bourbons. There's an exception here and there such as the Willett 23 I have. This one just might work. Definitely over oaked, but the oak fades after some time in the glass. Incredible nose. Rich and full mouthfeel. Not ready to call it a winner given the cost, but happy to be experiencing it.

Game of Thrones pour was three fingers of W12. Managed to drag it out through Mad Men.

OF Signature, which is very good IMO. Gonna have to try and track down a bottle of the BIB in the name of science.

Wait...does Foreseter BIB still exist? I'm new around here, but I assumed that the 100 proof Signature replaced the BIB....

Follow up to say that the oak influence in EC21 is too much for me. 4-5 sips were OK, but after that, the oak takes over and it becomes near undrinkable. I salvaged the rest of the pour by dumping in some ECBP. The 21 brings a buttery taste to the BP which is interesting. Need to try this one again to see if it holds up.
