Finally opened my CEHTSmB... interesting, I like it but not sure if I like it more than the BT I just killed.

Had a pour of Russell's Reserve Single Barrel. Wow, that stuff is delicious. Reminds me of 4RSB OBSV but perhaps a bit chewier and less of a lingering finish. I had it straight and could not believe I was drinking 110 proof bourbon as there was little to no heat.

Wife and I also did a blind taste test of Blanton's and WT101. She preferred the Blanton's and I liked the WT101 more. Very different bourbons so perhaps it was not a fair comparison.

Had a chance to try a young local bourbon from somebody else's bottle and couldn't say no!

Perhaps I should have...

Lazy Guy distillery in Kennesaw which was toured by the GBS crew a while back. Nice looking small distillery. This was aging (briefly) while we were there. As expected, a young (less than 2yo) grainy bourbon from a smallish cask as I recall.. Maybe there would be potential with time but there is too much good bourbon for less to spend any time with it now. One taste was enough.

Last night I went with a cup of dunkin donuts decaf and a little WT101. mmmmmmmmm. I slept well. With the talk of HHSS lately, Ive got a hankerin. Tonight may ne the night.

Started with KC and moved on to Baker's. Was tempted to have some Booker's just to complete the trend but decided it was a little warm and humid for a barrel proofer.

glad you got some enjoyment out of it. Today the right amount of chickens is 30. Does that sound accurate? For heavens sake just go buy a new pair of shoes and leave me alone.

Finished the the coupe today. Started the night of with the same improvised wt101 lamonede deal as yesterday. But have now moved on too my last pour of SAOS 10.

Wow a long day today. I started by having to replace the toilet in my daughters' bathroom. It only took 60 minutes longer than expected. I'm toasting the fact that it has leaked.........yet with some HHSS2.

An afternoon of yard work behind me, I now toast the efforts of the day with a solid pour of 4R PS OESV. This is my second pour from the bottle and I already like it better than the first. Many pours to go before a solid opinion is claimed but the early results have me thinking this could compete for my favorite recipe from the 10 available.

A couple pours of an EWSB2004 Store Select that I haven't had in a while. There is tons of creamy cinnamon in this bottle and it is working perfectly tonight.

Broken record time: I'm following my OESV with a solid pour of 4R LE SmB '14. A repeat of last night. The OESV is closer to the LE tonight, but the LE is still one of the special ones.

It's good to be in the cult.

Poured a generous serving of Larceny after finishing the wax-job on my car. Kind of a reward for 3+ hours of 'too-hard-work'. Tasting very nice. Glad I decided on it.

After not pouring Larceny for several months, I'm left wondering; why not!

Great minds think alike. Just helping myself to a generous pour of Larceny as well after cutting the grass. Now, what to drink when I'm grilling up those burgers?

First time I am enjoying a pour of the Stagg JR; yep, going right on my list of "Must Have" in the ole bunker along with Weller Antique, Booker's, Baker's and Noah's Mill.

I hate to say my nightly standard is often based on costs. Currently I am drinking Old Charter 10 year because I was able to pick up several cases of 1.75s for around $25/bottle.....can taste integrity be bought? BTW I do like OC10.
