jfw
Store selection of Weller 107. Proof positive it's doesn't have to be expensive to be a really great bourbon. Pretty much as good as any bourbon out there and only $20.
johnnyoski
On my second pour of a store select BT. Just picked up a 375'r but might have to go back this weekend for a handle.
Hop
So it's been VSOF, OFBIB, SAOS10, and then looking for a little something to cap off the night I settled on Hancock's Select, not a big proofer so I was a little apprehensive since everything so far tonight was 100 but this little 89'r is holding its own very well
MAKEITOUTOFWOOD
Sharing a couple of healthy pours of BT with a new friend. Cheers

flahute
Started with a classic, Old Charter Proprietor's Reserve 13yr (Frankfort). First time trying it. It was pinched and muted at first but opened up nicely after 10 minutes or so. Sweet and corny in a good way. I look forward to see how this one evolves.Finishing the night with an old standby, WT101. A contrast in spiciness. Tasting young in comparison, which is not a flavor I usually get from WT. (The OCPR 13 definitely had some wood present).Bourbons from different eras.
Fort Knox
Started off tonight by opening up a new bottle of 1792. The first pour was good, but had a bit more sting on the tongue than I expected, especially with as much Booker's as I've had lately. Followed it up with a couple of pours of Hudson Four-Grain, mostly because I was trying to finish off the bottle to make a little room on the bar. Not terrible over a big cube of ice, but I definitely won't be buying another bottle.
youngmc
Last night I had a bit of EWSB 2004 followed by FR SB.

typoerror
You have to tell me how to open the EWSB bottle. The wax seal seems impenetrable.i just yanked the tab quick and hard. wax shards flew everywhere...
unclebunk
Couldn't decide what to pour after freezing my ass off cutting the grass for the first time in 2015. (The temps aren't terribly low but the high winds made it feel pretty damned chilly.) I figured I'd go for the high octane before the kids got home from school, so WLW (2009) was the call. Good stuff but that's the end of the yard work!
chooch714
Just got home from work...hot and thirsty! So, I am enjoying a WT101 with a splash of ginger beer. Will transition to something neat after dinner.

PaulO
After going back to the 7 year Bernhiem Wheat on several occasions, I don't think it tastes different than the NAS version I had a few years before. It reminds me of Old Fitz, with most of the flavors muted. Compared to most bourbon or rye, this seems to have almost no taste. I can't call it good or bad. Next time, I'd go with Larceny instead. LCWoody
Having some Stagg Jr. over an ice ball. It's one of the few things I drink with an ice ball that benefits from it.

MAKEITOUTOFWOOD
I'm out of town this week. Stopped at a nice bar ordered a double of 4 roses smb. Was given a huge pour. Then I ordered a double of larceny. Another huge pour. Bill came $7.50 for the 4r $5.50 for the larcany. Being from ny I'll take those prices everyday. The pours where triples if not slightly more. Back at at the hotel now sipping BT for a night cap. Cheers
