I'm having a little bit of everything in the bourbon world tonight and enjoying all of it.

Having a pour of Makers Mark Cask Strength Batch 1. It's been a while. Nothing fancy. Just good bourbon you can hang your hat on.

Enjoying a 50:50 batting of EC12 Store Selection and ECBP Hazmat, followed by a small pour of El Dorado 15 year rum. Happy Saturday everyone!

ETL to help dull the pain in my shoulder from dumping my mtn bike today cuz a sling, ice pack and ibuprofen only helps so much

Having some WTRB (the previous version). I forgot how tasty and rich this is. Really hitting the spot. I still haven't tried the new 112 proof version. Might have to pick one up for a SBS.

Decided to go with an '86 pour of OGD bonded.

One of my favorites. Those 70s and 80s OGD BIB bottles are fantastic.

I bought an ER 10 last weekend. It's been a while since I've had a bottle of this around, so I decided to open it up tonight and have a pour. I'm glad I did. After a very long day, it's really hitting a nice spot for me tonight.

Cheers! Joe

Cracked open my NDP Big House and it tastes pretty good and hard to bitch about for the price.

Lots of guys on mountain bikes today - good work. I went 40 miles on the road bike today, grilled some burgers, and am now continuing yesterday's celebration with some '14 GTS. I just absolutely adore this stuff. Doesn't seem to matter which year it is, GTS remains my favorite by a country mile.

Tonight has been good.

OE7101

SB blend

Then a back-and-forth SBS with Blantons and RHF. Like them both, can't say anything bad about either one. Would probably pick RHF if I had to pick.

Well, I did it again, a nice little pour of WLW 125.3 while waiting for the coffee to brew.

I decided to take a page out of your book today Will. The only differences being I had a pour of 133.5 2012 WLW, along side my Millstone Chocolate Velvet coffee. The 2012 WLW has a smoky, nutty, cherry nose that is truly wonderful. The cherry is also there in the taste, along with a hint of pecan. It's a really great bourbon IMHO. And boy what a combo! A bourbon that tastes like a cherry pecan pie, along with a lightly chocolate flavored coffee. Absolutely delicious. :yum:

Cheers! Joe

You guys have a knack for making me both hungry and thirsty at the same time.

[Aside #1: Mountain bikes? At my age, a golf cart suits for going up and down hills.]

[Aside #2: I had some coffee with my bourbon at breakfast, too. My open Abe Bowman #11 (the latest SB) cask strength is going fast.]

Right now, it's AAA "10" while waiting for the thunderstorm to pass before grilling "salsa burgers" and making some margaritas. Being retired is nice - EVERY tomorrow is a Saturday.

Started off with KCSB and moved on to whatever is in the decanter (EC12, OWA, Weller SR, Stagg Jr. #3, proportions unknown). Not sure yet where I'll land next.

A couple pours of ETL and now some MM. Haven't had any MM in a year and I must say it's hitting the spot
