I am drinking some EWBIB tonight on the rocks. Have not drank bourbon on ice for a long time but it is so damn hot now and I feel like it was appropriate and let me tell you: this was a fantastic idea.

I always keep a bottle of EW BIB in the fridge for summertime.

I decided to take a page out of your book today Will. The only differences being I had a pour of 133.5 2012 WLW, along side my Millstone Chocolate Velvet coffee. The 2012 WLW has a smoky, nutty, cherry nose that is truly wonderful. The cherry is also there in the taste, along with a hint of pecan. It's a really great bourbon IMHO. And boy what a combo! A bourbon that tastes like a cherry pecan pie, along with a lightly chocolate flavored coffee. Absolutely delicious. :yum:

Cheers! Joe

Nice pour Joseph! I had a pour of WLW 2007 a few days ago and it made me think of you. Still my favorite year!

Had a nice Mother's Day pour of Booker's with Mrs. F. A robust bourbon for a robust woman.

Emptied an ETL & a SAOS 7 yr this weekend then started on EC12.

Wow it still amazes me how much more I enjoy now since I first tried it a couple years ago. I really think the difference is my palate change rather than a change in the product.

I'll confess. I have a bottle of OGDBIB in the freezer, not the fridge.

Killed off the remainder of that bottle of W12 and found an opened partial of WSR behind it on the shelf I'd forgotten about so I've moved in to that.

1792 and then VOB. I think this may be the last bottle of 1792 for me. I find its little brother VOB more satisfying and a much better value.

A small pour of EWSB 2005, after drinking primarily barrel proof offerings over the last week. It is really nice to drink a pop and pour bourbon with no watering needed. Granted, barrel proofs are fun, but so is this.

Moving in to some WT17. Yet another made possible a generous fellow.
