Crap day. Solid three finger pour of FRPS OBSF with a couple of cubes of ice. 10yrs 8mos. 63%. Got to get things going in the right direction, and this is a good start.

Small pour of Stagg Jr. to start the evening. This is the third batch, and I really like it so far.

I am doing the same thing. I like this a lot better that the Batch 1 bottle I had.

On my way to Outer Banks NC I stopped in an ABC in Pitt County and found Blood Oath on the shelf so being the impulsive WN addict I am I picked up two bottles. Several hours later after a great story for another time I arrive get to the room at the resort and pour a glass.

A bit worried about my purchase I was tentative but this is a very solid pour. Great nose, spice up front with a sweetness (caramel) on the back then a fruit that is very reminiscent of certain 4R recipes

Glad I picked up two.

Starting with a small pour of KCSB. Will probably have a pour of OGD114 next.

Old Forester Signature tonight. Good stuff, and even takes a bit of water well.

Just had a solid pour of FRSB and have followed it with a pour of EWBiB, which is price per ounce one of the best bourbons out there.

Tonight its the IW Harper 82 proofer and Four Roses reg. 80 proof. Both are nice but not great. The Four Roses for its price point is really good.

Starting off a 4 day Memorial weekend with ETL last night. Previous posts mentioning OFSig & EWBIB are so right on target.

Two of my most favorite bourbons.

I need to find some EWBIB, black label is easy to find but I don't know that I have ever seen a white label up here... or if I did I just overlooked it since I usually focus on the middle shelves.

Gorgeous Friday here in Georgia - and the Whiskey Wedge was begging to come out and play. Solid 4oz pour of ECBP should do nicely!

A very nice pour of this, Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whisky BIB, this is the best rye I've had to date. For just $23 a steal, glad to see it here in UT. What is the age on this one?

4 years old for the standard BIB Rittenhouse.

TGIF! I'm having a couple of pours of Stagg Jr Batch #3 to mark the end of the week, and the beginning of a three day weekend. Halleluilah!

FWIW, I haven't bought many expensive bottlings, specialty releases, higher proof stuff, etc… for a while now. Maybe a bottle here and there on rare occasions. But dayum is this Batch #3 good! I'm on bottle number two, and I'm seriously contemplating buying another one.

Cheers! Joe
