Hop
On my way to Outer Banks NC I stopped in an ABC in Pitt County and found Blood Oath on the shelf so being the impulsive WN addict I am I picked up two bottles. Several hours later after a great story for another time I arrive get to the room at the resort and pour a glass. A bit worried about my purchase I was tentative but this is a very solid pour. Great nose, spice up front with a sweetness (caramel) on the back then a fruit that is very reminiscent of certain 4R recipes Glad I picked up two. fishnbowljoe
TGIF! I'm having a couple of pours of Stagg Jr Batch #3 to mark the end of the week, and the beginning of a three day weekend. Halleluilah! FWIW, I haven't bought many expensive bottlings, specialty releases, higher proof stuff, etc… for a while now. Maybe a bottle here and there on rare occasions. But dayum is this Batch #3 good! I'm on bottle number two, and I'm seriously contemplating buying another one. Cheers! Joe
