GaryT
One of my favorite mingles - CEHT BP and ND BDL. Highlights that butterscotch from the BDL while keeping some kick from the CEHT BP. Coming in at 107 proof, just a lovely, easy drinking pour.
smokinjoe
Just spotted the first lightnin' bug of the year. That's a dang good sign! HH BIB 6 yr from the fridge in the glass at the time. Gonna be a good Summer !

Phil T
Something I don't drink all that much, WT 101. A really tasty, easy sipping whiskey. I just don't buy it much for some reason
AnotherCigarGuy
Just finished a bottle of the Colonel's Small Batch. It's definitely a top 5 for me.

Tony Santana
Treating myself tonight. ECBP with just a splash of EC12 while working off 4 hours of yard work in the hot tub, then '13 WLW, finishing up with HHSS Batch2.
Mardbrown
Brought a half filled flask of rock hills farms to a birthday party for my friend's father. Glad I did I felt like Don Draper drinking Canadian Club from their open bar.
FlounderinDC
Several healthy pours of Four Roses Single Barrel. I'm trying to stay up and make sure all this damn rain and flooding doesn't get in our house. Things are crazy in Oklahoma right now.
Ravensfire
Out traveling so dessert at the bar was a nice pour of Blantons with a VOB BIB nightcap back at the hotel. Not available in my area so picked it up and found it a nice solid bourbon.

tanstaafl2
A decent pour of Basil Hayden from the fairly poorly stocked bar (well, most bars look poorly stocked to me...) at the seafood place last night while waiting for a table (the place works on Island time and Saturday night on a holiday weekend at a vacation destination where nobody takes reservations always means a long wait!) to kick off a week on he island. Later OF Signature served as the base for the first cocktail of the week, a Paper Plane made with the Ramazotti variation. Of course I have to bring my own bar! Richnimrod
Of course I have to bring my own bar!Bruce! You really are a DEDICATED Mixologist to take all this on a Vacay! I usually just bring a flask, or stop at a liquor store and scoop up a single bottle of some Bourbon that I like (or can at least tolerate). CardsJJH24
Just shared some ETL with a neighbor that's a self-described "Scotch" guy. He was hooked at first taste, thought it was better than most of the standard scotches he drinks. That's the 2nd guy i've converted from Scotch to Bourbon in the past couple weeks. alstevens
Still gettin over a heck of a cold and staying away from the more expensive stuff for a little.Tonight I've poured three small glasses of EWBIB, VOBBIB, and OFBIB. Trying some comparisons and maybe trying to figure out which I like best.VOB has that figgy taste with the strongest noseOF has that wheated easy sipping tasteand EW is somewhere inbetween.I've decided that EW and OF will always be in the "bar" VOB I could probably live without. t44tq
A friend of mine opened quite a nice bottle today: Old, oaky nose. Kind of a sour note, like wet wood. Yeasty note as well. Very oaky taste, with some strong funk, still reminds me of wet wood or ropes. Quite a bit of burn. Nice vanilla finish, still strong wood note on the finish. fozzy71
OGDBIB out of the fridge. I rather like it chilled so I put my open WT101 in there as well.Edit to add: On to a random vatting of vattings: FC103/Templeton + WT101/ Templeton + BT over ice ball. I finally managed to overpower the templeton taste but it's going to take some time to finish off as it is now vatted into a full 750ml EC12 bottle. Richnimrod
Did a kinda comparison between a couple of EWSB's I have. Both are '05. One is regular shelf from a liquor store I've had open for a few months, and it's been pretty good; not special but worth the cheese. The other, is one I noticed grocery shopping a week or so ago. It's a private selection by/for Meijer's (a regional department/grocery store). Wellllll, the Meijer's pick was pretty special! I'll have to scoop another... or two, if any remain. It was very mellow and sweet, with a long, brown sugar, vanilla, sweet caramel finish that I quite enjoyed whereas the other has been good, but a bit woody and certainly not sweet or long on the finish. So, if anybody sees the Meijer's picked EWSB, and you like 'em sweet and long on the finish; this is your dram. fozzy71
I guess I forgot Meijer even sold spirits as I usually only go there for ammo once in a while anymore.

fozzy71
Sticking with OFBIB and this is my 3rd, 4th, or 5th pour..... Anyway it's great as alwaysOFBIB = OFSIG? One of my faves so far, got one open and one bunkered. Might pour this next, since the open bottle is getting low, to make room so I can open something else/new.
