Passed on ECBP at 99.99. Are you serious? This is same place that has a bottle of pvw20 in a glass case for 499. It has been sitting there for almost a year.

Bardstown's "lowest price in town" strikes again - @$8.00 more EC12 750ml with the old label ("12" on the front) than the new label bottle - says it's "limited"

Also passed on the "Weller 90" for $45/750ml.

Lastly, stupid money must be flowing heavy around KBF time, 'cause the three 750's of "Weller 12 'nuff said" from a few weeks ago were long gone. Wonder if he got $79.99 or $89.99 apiece for 'em - had both price stickers when I saw 'em earlier... :slappin::slappin::slappin:

Passed on Berkshire Bourbon Cask Finished (Terrapin Beer Company - an Athens, GA brewery). FJR1606 and I were hunting OFBB, but the owner offered this instead. Said he had to keep the OFBB for his regulars. Not even a cash offer would entice him. Fair enough.

While I would not, I'm surprised No one has bought that PVW20 for $500

I almost feel guilty posting, but passed on W12 for $21.99/$39.99 (750/1.75) and OWA at$24.99/41.99

I've got a good stash of both, and I feel bad for those who can't seem to find it for under triple those prices.

Sad but true. I know of a store in an affluent suburb here that recently acquired a PVW15 from another store. They put it in the glass case for $499 and it sold the same day. No doubt it has since been flipped on Facebook or Craigslist.

The manager at my big chain local store told me they got 6 of each on this fall's release. I was lucky to go in on the day they arrived. I think they were 19 & 24.

Oh I do envy ya'll with a lack of gougers and flippers, where W12 flows free and fair - hopefully the bubble will soon burst and the posers and fadsters will move on to something else...

Local store had Blanton's for $49.99, MMCS for $51.99 and Booker's for $45.99. I passed on the MMCS and Booker's. The sale is going on for another few weeks.

I would definitely grab a Blanton or two at $50.00!

Took a little ride on my scooter this afternoon. Stopped at a store I had heard had gotten a couple of bottles of WLW. Of course they were gone, and didn't even ask the price as their ETL was priced at $149.99 and their Blanton's was $129.99. Decided to ride back home and have a taste of my $34.99 ETL. Bet it tastes JUST as good

Stagg jr, it appears to be on every shelf.

A sign the madness is letting up?

B

I saw 6 bottles of various batches of Stagg Jr. on a shelf last week. Perhaps the madness is letting up!

Not to counter, but one of the stores that had it out on the self, also had ER10 and Blantons locked up in the high end room next to everything $200 and up.

Clearly there are some localized pockets still out there.

I have never seen 6 bottles of Stagg Jr. on a shelf in the Twin Cities, except in this place. With that said, the manager said they only get 1-2 bottles of OWA per shipment, and they ask for it every week from the distributor. Some weeks they get some, some weeks they don't. And they didn't have any Elmer T. Lee. They did however, have many bottles of Blanton's (store select, actually).
