Just emptied the last 2 fingers of my bottle of OGD 114 into my glass. Cheers!

I just made a few new mingles with OGD114 to kill a bottle and promptly opened another to make more concoctions.

Sipping on some BT now to kill off this bottle and fully expect to open another BT very soon.

For the price you can't beat it...enjoyed a pour of the Stagg JR and it is my FAVORITE...moved over to the CEHT Cured Oak for the first time....

Even at the new higher price it is a great pour but I am still stocking up before the price jumps next month here.

..enjoyed a pour of the Stagg JR and it is my FAVORITE.....

The night I opened my Stagg Jr batch 1 and Bookers I thought I liked the Bookers more. Last night when I had a pour of each it had reversed and I thought that Stagg was better. Both are great and I am going to savor every last drop of all 3 bottles of each I have.

Now there is someone I agree with 100%, Booker's and Stagg JR...hard to tell which one is better, but the Stagg JR usually wins, just harder to get your hands on...

Well, I am a fan of the CEHT series and have to say I love the Cured Oak and it is better (IMHO) than the Single Barrel...

Revisiting KCSB now and just grabbed my only Baker's from the bunker and cracked the wax to fill an empty space on my shelf so it look's like Beam mode is engaged.

p.s. Why does the beam wax suck so much? it comes off in teeny tiny pieces.

Small pour of Stagg Jr. to welcome the weekend, I am sure I'll have another pour of something else later as well!

OGDBIB and 114 the past few nights to combat an "off palate" episode. Tonight, I didn't even try anything else first, I just went straight to the 114 because I've been loving it so much the pat few nights.

Just opened an EWSB 2006, barrel 14, average to below average for EWSB. Corn, citrus, vanilla, and brown sugar on the nose. Medium body, more corn on the palate, then vanilla, and sweetness, the a bit of oak and spice. Medium finish, warming slightly. Overall, not bad for $20. I don't regret the purchase, but I am a bit underwhelmed compared to a store select 2004, and the standard 2005. We shall see how the bottle opens up over the coming weeks.

Ending the night with some Michter's 20y SB. An absolutely delicious bourbon.

Had some Four Roses 125th anniversary last night. Damn that's some good bourbon. Bottle is getting low. Gonna be sad to see it go.

Last night . . . BT Single Barrel Select (delicious caramel sweetness with spicy finish) followed by FRSiB . . . rinse & repeat.

Killed the last of a bottle of Dixie Dew and finished the night with a healthy pour of '08 Binny's select FRSB (barrel #2). I can honestly say without reservation that if I were on a desert island and could only drink one bourbon until the end of time, I would be happy if it were FRSB. Just amazing whiskey at a still incredibly affordable price. Treat yourselves gents and run out and get a bottle at Sam's Club for $31. It will be money well spent!

A little GD9 gift shop selection on the patio tonight. Last night was OF 1870, Jefferson's Groth, and Corner Creek at a buddy's place.

Today I met up with a very nice local SBer and he gave me a private store selection of FRSB 100 proof OBSV. So I've had a few pours of that tonight! It's very good, thanks again Paddy!!

Enjoying? Not! Jack Daniels . . . tasted like bad hominy. Only thing available at a party. Should have brought a flask.

Buffalo Trace while the Braves - Cards game was on. Cards win which is great. Some ETL for me to celebrate with which is even better!
